I like this diagram illustrating divergent and convergent thinking in relationship to creative thinking.  Seeing a visual like this better helped me understand the concepts.  The diagram in our book is a basic one that says Convergent Thinking- Final Product and Divergent Thinking- Starting Point.  Sometimes I like to see examples of how these terms can be used, and creative thinking is something I can easily relate to, as I did a lot of creative writing growing up and am always on the look out for creative assignments for my class.
